1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Jyotish Technologies LLC ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the myJyotish mobile application and myjyotish.app website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

myJyotish provides Vedic astrology (Jyotisha) tools and content, including Janam Patri (birth chart) generation, Nakshatra guidance, Kundli Milan compatibility analysis, Mangal Dosha analysis, and Muhurta (auspicious timing) recommendations, calculated using the Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri Ayanamsa.

3. Not Professional Advice

The content provided through myJyotish — including all chart interpretations, compatibility scores, remedies, and Muhurta recommendations — is offered for informational, cultural, and spiritual reflection purposes, rooted in classical Vedic astrological tradition. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Decisions regarding marriage, health, legal matters, or major life events should not be made solely on the basis of content provided by this Service. For ceremonies requiring precise Muhurta timing, we recommend consulting a qualified Priest or Pandit for final confirmation.

4. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and profiles.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You may create profiles for family members or others, provided you have the right to do so and the birth information is accurate to your knowledge.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Certain features of myJyotish require payment, either as a one-time purchase or a recurring subscription, as described on our Pricing page. Pricing is displayed in your local currency where supported. Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled; see our Cancellation and Refunds Policy for details.

6. Free Tier and Fair Use

The free tier of myJyotish is limited in scope (such as a limited number of Janam Patri generations per account). We reserve the right to apply reasonable technical measures to prevent abuse of free-tier limits, including tracking usage at the account level rather than only at the profile level.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent free-tier limits through account manipulation, automated account creation, or similar abuse.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service's calculations or content without our written permission.
• Upload false birth information with intent to harass or impersonate another person.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, calculations, interpretive text, and branding, is the property of Jyotish Technologies LLC. The underlying classical Vedic astrological tradition (Vedanga Jyotisha, Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, and related texts) is part of the public cultural and scientific heritage and is not owned by us; our specific implementation, calculations, and written content are protected.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including accounts found to be abusing free-tier limits or engaging in fraudulent payment activity.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for accuracy in our astronomical and astrological calculations, we do not guarantee that predictions, compatibility scores, or recommendations will reflect any particular outcome in your life.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jyotish Technologies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Jyotish Technologies LLC's place of incorporation, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
